Dana came into my life when she was 5 months

old. I was working at the kennel where she was

born and her owner had reutrned her to the

breeder. She was a very special dog and she

tought me alot.

In 1989 or 1990 the dog food company Frolic

had a competition called "Sveriges personligaste

hund" (The most personal dog in Sweden), and

Dana had a very big personality even if she was

a small dog. She ended up as a finalist and we

spent a day in Stockholm, waiting for the winner

to be appointed. It was quite nervous and at the

end there were only two dogs left and one of

them was Dana. She came in second place and a

west highland white terrier was appointed the

winner.
